Mother-Daughter “Strengthening Our Bonds” Communication Workshop
The Girls Inc. Mother-Daughter Empowerment Workshop will enhance the strong connection between daughters and their mothers by facilitating the development of sound communication practices and good listening habits. The workshop builds upon the influential role all mothers play in the lives of their daughters by providing participants with unique opportunities to bridge generational gaps, build conflict resolution skills, and provide mechanisms of support and instruction to young girls facing the everyday challenges associated with maturing from girlhood to womanhood.
Workshops are held for mothers and their daughters ages 9-13. Girls cannot participate without a mother or “other mother.”
